I ordered the hercules with the pet screen. Very pleased overall. One corner was off a little bit on the miter, but it went together easily, and was fixed with a little fileing. Overall, this door is far superior to its predecessor. Seems very sturdy, and should last for years. The rollers are great too. Easy to adjust and ride very well in the tracks.

I live on Hatteras Island, aka 'Hurricane City'. Salty air and gale force winds are common. It's great for your health, not so much for screen doors. The wheels turn to rust or dust within 10 minutes of exposure. And the wind shreads screens. Very thankful for a screendoor that's "Hurricane-proof". Paid a lot, but has been a real blessing. Looking forward to replacing the others, and the window screens, too.

I have using replacement doors from big box stores and they - right from the beginning - feel wobbly. This door is a higher quality. I bought the highest level one and assembled it myself - very easy. The only problem for me was the width. The height was perfect because I measured so carefully. Unfortunately I didn't measure the width as carefully so it doesn't quite close. Still way better than those other doors.

I had to replace my crappy universal screen sliding door, so I decided to buy this one, I choose the highest priced one they had, because I wanted excellent quality. I saved money by assembling the screen door my self. It had all the items I needed to complete the screen door, Pros: the door looks nice and is of good quality It does slide nice, I would buy from them again for another door.

The screen is very nice and sturdy. Easy to build and install, the dimensions were spot on as well.

The door itself was exactly as advertised. Cut exactly to my specs and extremely easy to assemble and spline for the screen. My only issue was with the latch. But it's a big deal for me. I have a 20 lb Maine Coon Cat that figured out how to open my last door so I needed something strong and secure. I'm not expecting this door to stop an intruder but I do need something that is secure when the door is closed. The door latch itself is very strong and built nicely. The hook part that attaches to the side jamb is a very soft metal that has a point that's supposed to keep the door shut. Unfortunately I can open this without using the spring loaded door latch. I'm thinking a redesign of the latch and hook should be looked at for a more secure design. If jiggling the door itself can open it then the whole point of it is mute.. I ended up going to home depot and getting a screw with a large head and shaving the head down to fit the door jamb while also allowing the door itself to slide past the latch and allowing the latch itself to hook the screw. The screw was cheap but the time it took to figure out what would work and fabricate it so the door latches 100% of the time took hours.... If anyone from metro would like photos of what I did please feel free to contact me and I'll send the finished result. Honestly though, the door is strong and well built..

Exceeded our expectations, worth the extra $$. And we also bought the pet screen on both hoping to avoid what happened to our old screens from our cat. Assembly was not difficult, videos helped a lot. Thank you!
