6 Powder Coated Finishes
All hinged screen doors are individually powder-coated by hand after assembly for a beautiful and durable finish. Powder coating provides a long-lasting finish that will stand up to harsh salt air and extreme sun exposure for years. Powder coated finish is documented to exceed 4,000 hours of salt spray testing under AAMA 2605-11. Most wet based painted finishes breakdown after only 600 hours.
Screen Mesh Options
Select from four different screen mesh options tailored to fit your lifestyle. Your choice might depend on whether you have pets or if you need a finer mesh to block out tiny insects. Available options include standard 18/14 mesh, heavy-duty mesh, no-see-um 20/20 mesh for smaller pests, and durable pet mesh for extra strength.
Kick Plates – Available in 4 Sizes
Choose from 8" (standard), 12", 14", or 24" kick plates, depending on the door design. Be sure to check the specific model for size availability. Adding a kick plate to your screen door or enclosure not only helps prevent dust and dirt from entering your space, but also enhances the overall design.
Self-Locking Screen System
Our self-locking screen system is designed to handle up to 550 lbs of pressure, ensuring that the more force applied, the tighter the screen stays in place. This makes it an ideal choice for families with active kids and pets. You’ll also find this reliable screen system on some of our sliding screen doors, providing strength and durability you can count on.
Universal Installation Kit
Everything you need to install your hinged screen door comes in one complete package. The kit includes screws, a strike plate, adjustable bug sweep, closure tube, EZ pull handle, full-length piano hinge, self-locking screen, and a Z-bar feature for a snug fit and smooth, quiet close.

Featuring a sleek design and available in five colors to perfectly match your screen door, it also includes an interior lock for added security.
2. The Albright In-Swing Handle: This handle showcases a sleek, universal design and comes with a convenient interior night lock. Its low-profile and precise craftsmanship make it an ideal latch for in-swing screen doors. Available in six durable powder-coated finishes—White, Bronze, Black, Sandstone, and Clay—it’s designed to perfectly match your hinged screen door for your porch or patio.
3. Pet Door Upgrade: Our heavy-duty pet doors are available in 3 sizes and 2 colors. Enjoy the ease and convenience of a screen door with a built-in pet door, tailored to your chosen door style. Perfect for families with pets, the durable Magnador™ now comes in two colors: classic white and bronze. The bronze option is especially ideal for high-traffic areas like kennels, as it hides dirt and wear more effectively. Pet doors come in three sizes: Small – for cats and miniature dogs, Medium – for 20 - 50lb. dogs, Large – for 50lb. + dogs.
4. The French Door Kit: This is the perfect solution for double screen door setups. With its exclusive Astragal system, both doors can open fully without any obstructions, eliminating the need for a center post. This design makes it easy to move furniture in and out while creating a wider entrance—perfect for seamless access to outdoor patios during gatherings. All of our hinged screen doors have this upgrade option.
5. Kephart Deadlock Upgrade: Looking to enhance your screen door security with a deadlock? We offer the Kephart Screen Door Deadlock as a key lock option for added peace of mind. This surface-mounted deadbolt features an exterior key lock, making it a perfect supplement to your screen door. You can easily pair it with our ADA-compliant EZ-Pull handle for a small upgrade fee. Plus, it’s available in all five of our powder coat finishes for a seamless, color-matched look—providing both convenience and security.
6. Tasman Locking Handle Upgrade: Optional locks are available for screen doors, including the Tasman lock, which features a superior design with a double key locking system and a lever-style handle for smooth operation. The Tasman lock can be secured from either side with a key. For enhanced security, you can use the Snib function to lock the door from the inside, or engage the key lock to override the Snib. This high-end, durable security handle comes in white or black finishes. This upgrade is only available for certain models.
