This Un-Assembled Superior Sliding Screen Door is made of high-quality extruded aluminum which is stronger than most standard, flimsy and jam-prone roll-form screen doors. It is available in several colors and it comes with 4 adjustable steel rollers, a handle with latch, and your choice of insect screen – fiberglass screen comes standard. This DIY screen door kit is cut-to-size and easily assembles in just a few minutes.
Our door locks are designed to fit doors installed on the OUTSIDE of your house. Allow 1/8" manufacturing tolerance. Coastal package available: Stainless steel rollers, screws, and latch hardware is ideal for coastal climates where normal doors will rust and fail to operate.

Great product!
Great product at a very reasonable price. Very simple assembly- don't pay more for an assembled one. Do it yourself and save $$. I would definitely recommend this product. Don't buy a cheap one from Home Depot or Lowes.

Great Product
I purchased a superior sliding screen door from Metro about five years ago and came back to this company when I needed one in another location. The doors are well made and very easy to assemble.

As advertized
I purchased the suprior extruded sliding doors, unassembled. I have oversized (44x96) doors and needed a sturdy frame. The old ones were standard weight and not optimal. The Metro Superior doors were exactly as advertized and exactly what I was looking for. They are strong, easy to assemble, well-designed and work very nicely. I made a measuring error on one door and Metro service line was very helpful, prompt and reasonable in replacing the two pieces I needed to finish the job. Very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend Metro Screen Works.

Good heavy duty framing, and assembly was simple
All is good but better detailed instructions, seemed like they were written in reverse telling you to install screen 1st?

Screen door nirvana!
Every aspect of my unassembled screen door was perfect! Just make sure you measure and remeasure to make sure you have the dead on size to a tee. Have never assembled a screen before, but it all went together quite easy!

Very good quality door
Arrived timely and in good condition. Frame was very easy to assemble and fit perfectly. Rolling in the screen retaining cord was somewhat challenging (hence the 4 instead of 5) but the finished product was outstanding. This is my third replacement door and the first one that fit right, works right and looks good. I wish I had started with Metro!

Very good door easy assembly and operation of door is smooth. Only prob is the door weather strip was missing and not in box
