The Screen Tight system is an easy, affordable means for DIY-ers and contractors alike to create beautiful, long-lasting screen enclosures. Instead of using wood frame and staples which are difficult to install and rescreen, Screen Tight is a vinyl system that makes installation and repair easy. Simply install the base with wood screws to existing 4x4s of your structure, place the screen and spline, then snap the cap over the top for a finished look. Need to repair? Remove the cap and replace the screen.

This Screen Tight pack is best for smaller projects, using 5 or less sticks (cap and base). For larger projects shop our 20 pack. Screen Tight is also available in 1-1/2 inch width base and cap.

FAQs

What Colors Does Screen Tight Come in?

White, gray, beige, and brown. Screen Tight cap comes in several colors. However, the base only comes in one color because once the cap is installed, the base is not seen.

Are Screen Tight Caps Paintable?

Yes. Simply clean the caps before painting with denatured alcohol then use latex paint to achieve your desired color. We do not recommend painting the caps a dark color as dark colors absorb more UV rays which can lead to deterioration of the caps. Do not paint the base.
