Choosing a made-to-size screen door will ensure it fits securely to keep insects out and smoothly slides open and closed – without jamming. You also can choose from a specialty mesh to get more value for your money and can choose from 6 standard colors (more custom colors) to match your home’s trim or door frame color.

Easy and works great!
I ordered mine a little to tall but managed to get it on the track with a little effort. After that works perfectly. Putting it together was very easy, I probably assembled it in about 30 minutes.

Happy With Purchase
I have retrofit sliding doors so the screen portion of the door cannot be purchased at a home improvement store due to being smaller than a "normal" sized door. I found this site and ordered a custom door unassembled. I received the door within one week, neatly packaged. The horizontal portions come with the corner piece already installed so all you have to do is mate the vertical pieces to horizontal. One note, the directions for the frame assembly do not note to make sure you install all faces so the spline groove is on one side. While I made sure the groove was correct, the company may want to amend their instructions to include this as someone could make that mistake. I put the frame together on a carpeted floor. Rather than use a mallet or hammer to insert the corner pieces fully into the vertical frame, I simply stood the door on its end and pushed down against the floor to fully insert the corner piece. Frame assembly took less than 5 minutes. Screen takes a bit longer to install (I put the door on the kitchen counter for this as you want a firm surface) but I figure the whole process should take less than 30 minutes. This door is a better quality than the ones that came with the slider and when my other screen door wears out I will be ordering again. Great product, and nice people to work with.

Great Service, Great Product
From beginning to end a great experience. Because of my own mistakes with measuring & billing address, I had to change my order twice and the folks at Metro did it without fuss, and got it right. The screen door came before promised and I assembled, screened and hung it within an hour. My only problem is that it works better than all the other screens in the house so makes me want to replace them all. I would definitely but from Metro again.

Great product
Looked all over for a replacement screen door but no one had the correct size. Metro's team helped me with the sizing, the product showed up on time and assembly was pretty simple. Everything needed was supplied (even the tool for the spline installation, nice touch). After manual adjustments to the roller assemblies the door fit perfectly and slides very easily. Total assembly time was @ 45 minutes. One minor complaint, the roller adjustment screws were a bit hard to turn and one of the screws almost stripped. Other than that it was perfect. Problem solved!

extruded screen door
Ordered the custom size screen door un-assembled. It arrived when promised and went together with out problems. A much better door than the one the grandson ran through.

Great price for a custom door.
After the cheapo door that came with patio door broke, looked everywhere for a replacement box stores wanted the model and serial number for door replacement went online and found this one. Put together and fit right in with no binding up or sticking. Definitely worth the price.

New screen doors
I ordered two assembled classic screen doors. Assembly was quite simple, though do expect to use a rubber mallet to secure the corners together tightly. Received ample screening and splining, could have used a little more instruction for installing the J latch for the door frame, but figured it out (never did figure out what the two yellow pieces of plastic were for), and was able to get the doors put together and in place in a little over an hour. Nice product! Thank you.

Well-Made
The door was easy to assemble and fit very well. Could use some better instruction on fitting the bug guard strip.
