Why Everyone Needs a Made-To-Order Screen Door
No door opening is the same size. Even “standard-size” door openings will have some variance due to installation and other factors. Choosing a made-to-size screen door will ensure it fits securely to keep insects out and smoothly slides open and closed – without jamming. You also can choose from a specialty mesh to get more value for your money and can choose from 6 standard colors (more custom colors) to match your home’s trim or door frame color.
Tools You'll Need for Installation
- Screwdriver
- Roller tool (comes with your order)
- Utility knife

Unassembled screen door no problem!
I have re-screened window screens before, so I do you have that experience. However, I follow the directions from metro screens, and you should have no problem! If you have questions, calling customer service is also a breeze. Very polite, and knowledgeable assistance. We will only use metro screens in the future.

Unassembled sliding screen door
Went together really easy. I ordered it a little shorter than suggested because my condo association added storm doors the the facade of the building and the track that was added takes away some clearance. Since the wheels of metro screen works door wheels are adjustable it worked out great!

Very High Quality
I purchased the screen door for seaside use with the better wheels and materials- the product is great - fit perfectly, easy to put together (some experience putting in screens is helpful). The slide great. Highly recommend - just make sure you measure right!

Just as specified
The door is strong and classy-looking. It was not difficult to assemble. The customer service department was very helpful in providing info so we could pick the door best suited to our needs. Built to the exact measurements we specified and delivered within the time frame promised.

Excellent!
Luckily I was able to measure my original door so I was sure to have the correct measurements. The door was so simple to assemble. The hardest part was installing the screen using the tool. You have to use "elbow grease" especially if you purchased a heavier grade screen. The only issue I had was figuring out where to place the hook/latch of the door lock. Placement was trial and error, but we got it done. The door opens and closes so smoothly, just like the original door. I would definitely use metro screen works again if needed.
