Why Everyone Needs a Made-To-Order Screen Door
No door opening is the same size. Even “standard-size” door openings will have some variance due to installation and other factors. Choosing a made-to-size screen door will ensure it fits securely to keep insects out and smoothly slides open and closed – without jamming. You also can choose from a specialty mesh to get more value for your money and can choose from 6 standard colors (more custom colors) to match your home’s trim or door frame color. Allow 1/8" manufacturing tolerance.

What Sizes Do Sliding Screen Doors Come In?
All of our screen doors are custom-made to your size needs. Though local home improvement stores only offer various sizes of screen doors, every sliding screen door we offer is custom-made to your size needs. Why? Because many doors aren’t an exact standard size. Additionally, we offer you more frame color options for better curb appeal and specialty mesh to add more value and comfort.
How Do I Know What Size Screen Door to Buy?
Measure your old door or measure the door opening. If your old door is the correct size, you can simply measure it to calculate the size of your sliding screen door replacement. However, if you have an old door, then you can either follow these measuring guidelines. If you have any questions about measuring contact us.

Custom Sizes
This place makes custom sizes you can't get a hardware store. They made it perfectly to size and shipped timely. It didn't operate well but it was no fault of the door, it was my track. At Metro you can buy replacement tracks, too, so I did. I needed it quickly so they FedExed it to me. I cut the bug flap too short and had to order another one, easy to do on their website. Excellent customer service.

Great!
I couldn't figure out how to fix my large screen door - nobody had the right wheels and the size was unusual - until I stumbled across Metro ScreenWorks. Quick measurement and a few weeks later I had a new screen door that just clicked into place. The service was also excellent - I wasn't sure about the measurement, and they basically walked me through it to be sure. Excellent place.

Tried Store Bought Junk, Then Bought This
You get what you pay for. This EXTRUDED sliding screen door works as it should. The cheap rolled aluminum stuff at the home improvement stores doesn't. I should have bought this three years ago when the old door gave out.

Excellent Quality
Ordered this door because I wanted black and couldn’t find it locally. Order “ ready to hang” so I had no problems popping it in place .

Holds up to a St Bernard!
After seven years, my dog had finally banged up the old builder grade screen one too many times. I was skeptical about spending $300 on a sliding screen door. After all, I could pick up a kit from Home Depot for less than $100. I will NEVER think that again. This door that Metro Screenworks put together is night-and-day compared to my original door. The metal is sturdy and thick, the "Pet Shield" screen is tight with a thick wire gauge. I'm one happy camper, although I think my St Bernard is getting frustrated.
