French Retractable Screen
Very simple ordering process on your website. The screen door took longer than normal, no fault of your own, with the supply chain shortages, and workforce challenges, we are experiencing across the board. Decent Product, not perfect
We purchased 5 of these for double french door applications. I've installed 2 and the install really isn't bad. I recommend having a small pry bar to go along with the other recommended tools. Installation is easy, if you measured accurately. I can install one set in about 45 minutes without rushing. The first one took a couple hours, but that was just getting familiar and trying to understand an issue I was having. The one issue is right out of the gate. They offer an optional lock pin to install on one of the screens. But the groove that the pin needs to slide in doesn't exist on one end (so far 2 for 2 with this issue). It's not a big deal for me because I don't care to have the pin, but if you're going to offer this option....It should work, right? There is a work around, where you could remove the handles and slide the pin all the way up from the other end. Just wasn't worth the effort in my opinion. The screen handles are installed already, but not aligned, so you have to adjust all of them. Not that hard to do. The units are very sharp, and serve the purpose perfectly. So far out of the 4 retractable doors installed, I have one that doesn't like to retract very well. Hopefully it will loosen up over time. You do need to be careful with the doors, they need to be hand guided gently when opening and closing. They can come out of the track. This review isn't meant to sound harsh. I like the product and would buy it again.

Very very nice looking. I installed it on the inside of the door frame. Very easy to install. Works like a charm. The only thing I had to do was tighten up the tension on the spring. Wasn't retracting fast enough. I'm definitely going to recommend the retractable screen.

Excellent product
The retractable screen door is just what I needed for my French doors. My handyman mentioned it was a little bit tricky to insert with the molding around the door but he managed to do it. Looks very nice and works well.

Instructions c/b better. On a french 2 door in-frame, installation was very hard. 1 sided s/b very easy or surface mount. Screen is very nice once it's in. Help # provided was very good you can reach out to a real person and they will help you. It looks great and seems like it will last for a long time.

Good solution
Screen doors are hard to install on French doors. The Milano 200 cassette design is a very good solution. Measure carefully, they send exactly what you write down. The installation took me an afternoon, once again, careful with the layout. I damaged a slide bolt for the fixed side, my fault, Metro replaced it free of charge. Operates well, don't 'help' it to open. Looks great. Recommend it.
